6th UTVV AL!VE Training – Mala Gora Challenge

Dear Warriors,
We are excited to invite you to the final, 6th UTVV AL!VE training, which will take place on Sunday, March 23, 2025, on the beautiful trails of Mala Gora, starting from Kamnje. Due to the announcement of the charitable run NajNaj21, we have moved the date of our event one week earlier than originally planned. We also encourage you to attend the NajNaj21 marathon in Škofja Loka on March 30, 2025, which will donate all voluntary contributions to raise funds for Matic’s treatment.
We understand that by moving our UTVV AL!VE Training, it now coincides with the event 8 Hours of Kup in Podbrdo, organized by TD Podbrdo. Therefore, we invite all runners to choose between attending either event – our training or the 8 Hours of Kup. The choice is yours.
For running enthusiasts, we have prepared a special challenge – Mala Gora Challenge, offering several different options to test your limits:
– Mala Gora Everesting – 10 ascents to Mala Gora, up to the marked “Everesting” point
– Mala Gora Montblancing – 5 ascents to Mala Gora, plus an additional ascent to the “Montblancing” point
– Mala Gora Triglaving – 3 ascents to Mala Gora, plus an additional ascent to the “Triglav-ing” point
– Mala Gora Trail – An 18 km trail with 1240 m of elevation gain, along both well-known and lesser-known paths under and above Mala Gora (guided group run).
Event details
– Starting point: Sports playground in Kamnje, where there will also be a refreshment station and a registration point for all participants.
– Refreshments will also be available at the Mala Gora hut.
– Contributions: Voluntary donations will be collected to cover event costs.
Start times
– Everesting: Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 6:00 PM
– Montblancing/Triglav-ing: Saturday, March 22, 2025, anytime after 6:00 PM
– Trail: Sunday, March 23, 2025, at 9:00 AM
We also welcome all hikers and runners who would like to visit Mala Gora at any time during the event. Participants can choose from a variety of options and tailor the event to their abilities and preferences.
