Ultra Trail Vipava Valley, Slovenia was started in 2015 as a trail race. In its first edition, 415 runners from 5 countries came to test themselves. Four years later in 2019, we had 1050 runners from 30 different countries.

Today UTVV Slovenia is a part of Alpe Adria Trail Cup trail running league.

We hosted elite pro runners such as Francesca Canepa (1st woman Emperor 160km in 2019), Luca Manfredi (1. place Centurion 100km in 2019). Pau Capell was also coming in 2020, but due to Covid-19 situation, our race was postponed that year.

We are dedicated to our race all year round. We are attending EXPOs of our partner races, usually with our Race Team of elite Slovenian trail runners.

We put our hearth and our soul into this event, to make it better year by year. You can read the testimonials of runners that were at our event.
