The Bohinj Ski Touring Festival (TSF) is Slovenia’s first multi-day ski touring festival. Set in the heart of the Julian Alps, it brings together movement in the mountains, knowledge, safety, sporting challenges, and a sense of community. The festival is not a classic “race event,” but a holistic winter experience for everyone who lives an active outdoor lifestyle – from beginners to experienced mountain enthusiasts.

TSF fills the winter gap, when the trail running season in Slovenia tends to slow down, and shows that winter can be an active and meaningful preparation for the season ahead. It is a space where foundations are built – physical, mental, and technical – for the spring and summer challenges to come.

Organization

Organiser: Bohinj Tourism Institute
Bohinj Tourism Institute is responsible for the strategic concept of the festival, program development, and positioning the event within Bohinj and Triglav National Park in line with the principles of sustainable tourism.

Co-organiser and main technical partner: JATrail d.o.o.
JATrail d.o.o. is responsible for the operational and technical execution of the festival and coordination of on-site activities. The festival is co-created by teams with extensive experience from some of the region’s largest outdoor events, including Julian Alps Trail Run by UTMB, Ultra Trail Vipava Valley, Soča Outdoor Festival, Kočevsko Outdoor, and Archipelago Trail Run.
