After the racing season ends, it’s time for relaxing, trail running get-togethers, training, reflecting on the past season, and preparing for a new one.
All this with a glass or two of a local Vipava Valley wine 🍷

We are introducing something new this autumn in the series of UTVV trainings, traditionally organized in the winter season.
We invite you to join us in Vipava at the UTVV autumn trail-running challenge.
This event is for both – competitive and not-so-competitive trail runners and anyone who enjoys tasting Vipava delicacies during Martinovo season.

• Competitive part

Join us for a six-hour running competition. Participants will run a 6.3 km circuit on the slopes of Nanos and Vipava, covering 420 meters in elevation gain. The race will conclude at the Main Square in Vipava, where a fully stocked refreshment station will be available. After the event, a warm meal and a glass of wine await all participants.

• Competition system

The 6.3 km route starts from the Main Square in Vipava. We will climb past the Old Castle above Vipava, then continue under Škavnica and further past the Plaza. We will reach Camp Ture and then head back towards the Main Square in the centre of Vipava.

The circuit includes 420 meters of altitude.

Competition time: 6 hours

The competition starts at 10:00 on Saturday, November 16, 2024.
The start of the challenge is chosen by each competitor at will, from 10:00 on, the latest start is at 15:00.

The competition ends at 16:00. For the last lap to be counted, the competitor must be at the finish line on the Main Square by 16:00.

The competition includes the following categories:

– Longest distance covered
– Fastest lap

The winner of each event will receive:

– A medal
