I’m a person who is passionate about many activities in addition to running and mountains. For instance, I enjoy photography and travelling to discoverd new places around the world. I’m also interested in sports in general and I like to help people live a better life. Thanks to my job I’m able to combine all my passions.

When did you start running and why?

I started running at twelve. I started because my father was a runner and then I decided to try. I live in Val Brembana and here there are many paths.

The most beautiful / fun running memory / experience…

For me, the most beautiful experience is always representing Italy around the world and wearing the ″maglia azzurra″.

How do you train, do you have a training system?

Usually I run once a day and furthermore twice a week I do resistance training. Moreover once a week I do a speed workout and a long run.

The ideal running distance?

So far I have always done short races, but this year my goal is to increase distances until 40 km.

The ideal day to run is (where, with whom, how)?

My ideal day to run is a sunny day, in the mountains, with my friends.

The ideal day when you’re not running is?

Days without running are rare, so in that days I have so much things to do.

What would I do if you weren’t a runner?

I’m a physiotherapist and it’s a job that I like so much. I have my own little clinic in Val Brembana, where I visit patients with sports and muscoskeletal issues.

Favourite literature / film about running, training, nutrition, philosophy,…

I like any kind of reading, I’m so courious and I like learn new things.

Have you already run on UTVV, what is your best memory? If not, what are you waiting for?

I have never run UTVV, but I raced many times in Slovenia, for example at Smarna Gora race, of which I am the track record holder. I love your country, green, orderly and quiet.

The best advice you ever got / can give to others…

Perseverance and hard work always pay off. You have to learn to enjoy the journey to the goal as much as possible.
